Wilkins' first season in Las Vegas didn't go according to plan. He played in only five games and didn't appear in a contest after Week 5 due to a foot injury. That issue is still lingering into June, which casts doubt upon his ability to ever handle the 850-900 defensive snaps that became customary in his final years in Miami. For now, we'll assume the best, but this is a very fragile projection in what could be one of the worst contracts in the league if Wilkins can't get healthy as he approaches his age-30 season. The optimistic angle is that Wilkins is cleared for training camp and resembles the reasonable run-stuffer he proved to be in the early years of his career. That would be enough to land him on fantasy radars that require defensive linemen to be rostered.
