Patterson followed offensive coordinator Arthur Smith to Pittsburgh in 2024, but he didn't enjoy the same success in Smith's scheme that he did in Atlanta a few years ago. The Steelers ended up releasing Patterson this July, but he could find work elsewhere this summer, if only to compete for kickoff returns after additional rule changes were made to discourage touchbacks.
