“It’s a little different because I know more coverages, I know like style trees, I know coordinators you know I’ve played against a good amount different schemes so it’s a little easier”

Nice day for the 1st team offense against a top defense in their first somewhat game action under Nick Caley.
Last offensive series for the Texans scrimmage ended with a Stroud-Nico TD:
The Texans have a good safety room even without CJGJ and I expect Jalen Mills who recently worked out for Houston is a guy they consider adding if the injury is bad.
Don't know what to make of Jimmie Ward currently but he is a very solid player when healthy who can provide a little of everything and the Texans like Jaylen Reed/M.J. Stewart as well.
The secondary probably isn't number 1 anymore with that hit but it is still absolutely a top 3 one in the league
Davis Mills to Xavier Hutchinson for the first TD of the scrimmage!
Texans S C.J. Gardner-Johnson went down with an apparent knee injury and was carted off today via Sam Warren and others.
A potential big loss for the Texans.
First series for 1st team offense ends with a FG:
The Texans first team OL in their scrimmage today:
Today’s Texans practice is their last one before heading to Minnesota for their week 1 game.
Today is expected to be a scrimmage via Landry Locker on X.
