With Jacoby Brissett now with the Cardinals and Joe Milton dealt to the Cowboys, the Patriots will turn to Dobbs to serve as the top backup to second-year pro Drake Maye. The 30-year-old spent last season with the 49ers and has 15 career NFL starts under his belt, including eight with the Cardinals and four with the Vikings during the 2023 season. With New England, the 2017 fourth-rounder will provide an experienced option to turn to should Maye miss time, but in such a scenario Dobbs' fantasy upside could be limited while working behind a retooled offensive line and with the team's receiving corps still a work in progress.
