Windom was signed off the Steelers' practice squad midseason after going undrafted in 2024 and didn't play a defensive snap until Carolina's Week 15 contest. However, he showed flashes of potential during his two starts, tallying 18 total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, and two pass defenses between Weeks 16 and 17. He'll serve as the Panthers' top reserve inside linebacker this season, playing behind Christian Rozeboom and Trevin Wallace.
