Chinn is still only 27 years old but has looked like both one of the most promising young safeties in the league as well as on his way out of a job in the span of five seasons. He and the Commanders found each other at a perfect time in 2024, as he earned a near full-time role for the first time since 2021 while lining up everywhere imaginable for the defensive unit. He managed to match his career high with 117 tackles and turned that into a two-year deal worth a potential $16.3 million with the Raiders this offseason. Between that contract and the lack of competition around him, Chinn should be a key role for his new team and have a chance of turning in comparable production to his 2024 campaign.
